Not that many Swiss Army knives are available in black as well as red. The Swiss Champ is one of Victorinox's most popular models and is also one of the most sought-after black ones.
No surprise, really, since it does a great job packing a ton of tools into a small, lightweight space. This model is bulkier than the Swiss Army Ranger knife we reviewed yesterday, but it also packs a whole lot more into its feature set.
The Swiss Champ contains thirty-two tools that I will now recite without taking a single breath...
Two blades, can and bottle opener, five screwdrivers, wire stripper and cutter, scissors, pliers, two saws, magnifying glass, fish scaler, hook disgorger, ruler, reamer, sewing eye, leather punch, tweezers, toothpick, hook, nail filer and cleaner, metal file, chisel, pen, pin and corkscrew. Phew!
