Kershaw Ken Onion Leek Folding Knife | Speed Safe | Rainbow and Other Colors

Kershaw Ken Onion Leek Folding Knife Quick, which vegetable is bigger, the chive or the leek?

It's the leek, of course, and this knife is true to its name. It's similar to the Ken Onion Chive Knife we reviewed recently, but with a longer blade.

It's still a relative lightweight, though, measuring just four inches closed and weighing in at only 3.1 ounces.

This knife won the "American Made Knife of the Year" award at the 2002 Blade Show. That's quite an impressive feat.

The blade is made of Sandvik 13C26 stainless-steel and comes razor sharp. It features Ken Onion's exclusive "Speed Safe" opening mechanism which allows the knife to open automatically and safely. It also features a safety that ensures the blade stays closed in your pocket.

The handle is 410 stainless steel that's available with various finishes and colors.

Kershaw has done a great job introducing innovative knives that use quality materials and provide great bang for the buck. This knife is no exception.
