SOG Knives Daggert 2 Fixed Blade Knife The Daggert 2 is one heck of a military knife. Every little detail is thought out for maximum utility and durability. SOG really hit the jackpot!

First of all, let's take a peek at this rugged-looking blade. It's partially serrated, comes to a sharp spear point at the tip, and has a blood groove forged into the middle. The blade measures 6.75 inches and is made from hardened AUS 8 stainless steel, measuring 57-58 on the Rockwell hardness scale.

And the handle is just as exceptional, if not more. See, this is the very first time a Kraton rubber grip handle has ever been able to accommodate built-in washers for extra strength. Another standout feature is its stainless steel pommel, capable of being used as a hammer if needed.

Plus, the entire knife (save for the rubber on the handle) is glazed in SOG's hardcased TiAlN coating, blackening the appearance and protecting the material for longer usage.

So while it's not an inexpensive knife, just know that with the Daggert 2 you get what you pay for. It's definitely a worthy investment.
